Get Mew & Mewtwo event logoFile:PPN30.jpegMewtwo event banner
Revealed during the August 8, 2023 Pokémon Presents, the 30th Tera Raid Battle event will be the Mewtwo the Unrivaled event, as a tie-in with the Get Mew and Mewtwo! event.[1][2] Mewtwo cannot normally be encountered in Paldea, and the Mewtwo appearing during this event had Psychic as its TeraType. This Mewtwo can only be caught once per save file, although the Tera Raid Battle can be attended repeatedly for additional item rewards.
Notably, if the player chooses to challenge this Mewtwo with any Mew, (not limited to Mew obtained from the My very own Mew distribution), some additional effects will occur[3]:
The text "Mew is going to go all out against this formidable opponent!" appears.
Mew receives a 50% boost to its HP, and 20% boost to all 5 other stats for the duration of the battle.
If Mewtwo is defeated and/or captured, any Mew present in the raid also gain the Mightest Mark, granting them the titleMew the Unrivaled.
Mewtwo cannot be captured during the event—the Max Raid Battle's only purpose is to provide rare and lucrative rewards, such as Ability Capsules and Big Nuggets. There are multiple Mewtwo slots, with each one knowing different moves; some based around physical moves, and some based around special moves.
A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in this location in the specified game. A white background with a colored letter means that the Pokémon cannot be found here.
