Pokémon Pass is a free app provided by The Pokémon Company International for iOS, iPadOS, and Android. It was released in the United States on May 1, 2019. The app was delisted from the App Store and Google Play Store in 2023.
The app allows users to receive serial codes and digital rewards through three methods: simply downloading the app itself, finding and scanning a QR Code at a participating store, or completing a scavenger hunt at a participating store.[1] For in-store promotions, the app requires camera functionality and GPS or location services. Users are required to log in using a Pokémon Trainer Club account.
If the user is unable to find an activity's QR code at a participating store, there is an option to skip the QR code scanning and receive the corresponding reward regardless. However, the user must still be within the store's GPS location.

See What’s In Store with Pokémon Pass!
Pokémon Pass connects you with great Pokémon reward activities when you visit participating retailers in your area. Sign in with your free Pokémon Trainer Club account, then get notified of upcoming events at a store near you. When you visit the store, use your phone’s camera to scan a code to unlock a gift—such as in-game items for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! or Pokémon photo stickers for your camera.
To use the app, you’ll need to enable location services and grant permission for the app to use your phone’s camera. You’ll also need a free Pokémon Trainer Club account, which you can create on Pokemon.com.
Add a little Pokémon fun to your next trip to the store with Pokémon Pass!
