History

Pre-series

Revealed in a flashback, they live on an island together with their son and his grandfather. They were sailors and had to go on a long voyage, leaving Roy in the care of his grandfather.

Pokémon Horizons: The Series

Roy's parents were first mentioned in A New Song for Fuecoco, where Roy explained his reasons for liking singing.

Character

Little is known about Roy's parents, but they both enjoy singing and are supportive of Roy's dreams of becoming a Pokémon Trainer and takes their jobs as Sailors seriously.
