Yuha (Japanese: ユハ Yuha) is a recurring character who first appeared in Where the Land Meets the Sky. He is a resident of Pericarp Town along with his father and great-great-grandmother.

History

When the Rising Volt Tacklers arrived in Pericarp Town after being led there by the Black Rayquaza, they were greeted by Yuha and his father. Believing the Black Rayquaza to be an omen of disaster, Yuha demanded that the Rising Volt Tacklers leave the town. Later, Liko, Roy, and Dot heard screaming coming from a nearby cave and went inside, where they found Yuha and his Noibat being chased by a swarm of Vibrava. Yuha had entered the cave to find his Noibat, whose disappearance he assumed was caused by the Black Rayquaza.

Together, by combining their Pokémon's moves, Yuha and the others cleared a path through the Vibrava and escaped from the cave. Liko's group determined that Noibat went missing because while it was training with Yuha, it accidentally entered the Vibrava's territory and was forced to flee from them. Blaming himself for causing the incident, Yuha apologized to Liko and the others for putting blame on them and the Black Rayquaza.

He also made a brief cameo in The Earthshaking White Zygarde along with his family as they witnessed the chaos caused by the Laquium in Laqua.

One year later, in HZ133, Yuha and his father, along with the other residents of Pericarp Town, spotted the Rising Volt Tacklers heading towards Laqua again. Despite the other residents' distrust, Yuha quickly defended his friends and said he trusted them.

In HZ134, Yuha witnessed the Rising Volt Tacklers' actions to defend his town from the effects of Laquium. Seeing that the other residents had also begun to see the reality, he started to smile.
