Pokémon Winds (Japanese: ポケットモンスター ウインド Pocket Monsters Winds) and Pokémon Waves (Japanese: ポケットモンスター ウェーブ Pocket Monsters Waves) are the primary paired versions of Generation X. The games will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide in 2027.
The games were announced worldwide on February 27, 2026, at 11 P.M. JST, through a Pokémon Presents. All copies of the games are playable in eleven languages: Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, European Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. They will be the first core series game with a Brazilian Portuguese translation.
