The schematics of a Hisuian Poké Ball in the anime
Hisuian Poké Balls first appeared in The Arceus Chronicles (Part 1), as part of the Sinnoh Festival. Cynthia gave Ash, Goh, and Dawn an old Poké Ball each, replicated using old schematics, and challenged them to catch a Rowlet, a Cyndaquil, and an Oshawott with them.
In The Arceus Chronicles (Part 4), Rei was seen crafting some Hisuian Poké Balls.
Trivia
- The Hisuian Poké Ball is the only type of Poké Ball that always reduces the catch rate of a Pokémon regardless of species.
- In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, during Ms. Raifort's history classes, a Hisuian Poké Ball appears on the classroom board as part of a timeline on the history and development of the Poké Ball.
