Black Apricorns appeared in Going Apricorn!, where Kurt sent Ash, Misty, and Brock to harvest some Apricorns. After many failed attempts at picking Apricorns, the group managed to pick two Blue Apricorns and a Black Apricorn, which Kurt later turned into a pair of Lure Balls and a Heavy Ball for them.
