1025 Pokémon Countdown
1025 Pokémon Countdown is a 30-minute YouTube video that was broadcast as a pre-show before the Pokémon Presents livestream on February 27, 2026 (the day of the Pokémon 30th Anniversary), serving as a countdown to the start of the presentation. It was uploaded as a separate video later on the same day. The video features the 30th Anniversary logos of all 1025 Pokémon from the first nine generations, alongside a medley of electronic arrangements of music from across the core series.
Structure
The video showcases all of the 30th Anniversary logos for every Pokémon (including forms that have their own logos). Various other visuals are included that relate to the theme of the Pokémon being shown and are timed to the music. The video features a timer counting down from 30 minutes in the bottom left corner, which also appears in the center of the screen at certain points in the video when it passes a particular milestone. The top right corner has a Poké Ball symbol that shakes each time a Pokémon appears; at certain points throughout the video, the Poké Ball is replaced with a number to indicate that the number of Pokémon shown (out of 1025) has passed a particular milestone. The Pokémon are grouped by various themes, which generally coincide with the music (for example, aquatic Pokémon appear during the Surf themes, and Pokémon used by Gym Leaders appear during the Gym Leader battle themes). People dancing in Pikachu mascot costumes (a few of which have Ditto faces) appear in some sections.

Trivia
- Several baby Pokémon and Pokémon themed around eggs are shown during the cycling themes' section of the video, which may be a reference to the fact that cycling is often the most optimal way to hatch Pokémon Eggs in the core series games.
- In the section of the video featuring Pokémon used by Gym Leaders, Cilan, Chili, and Cress are the only Gym Leaders to be represented by Pokémon that they do not use in their initial Gym battle against the player, as they are represented by Simisage, Simisear, and Simipour (rather than their unevolved forms Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour).
- In the section of the video featuring Pokémon used by Champions and other final opponents, Trace and AI Sada/AI Turo are the only final opponents of core series Pokémon games who are not represented.
