Snubbull (Japanese: ブルー Bull) is a Normal-type Pokémon.
It evolves into Granbull at level 23.
Biology
Physiology
Snubbull resembles a pink bipedal bulldog with unusual blue polka dots covering its body. It appears to be wearing a small dress; however, this is probably due to wrinkles of loose skin that cover its body. Its face is somewhat fierce looking, with a pronounced underbite.

Behavior
Despite this Pokémon's fierce looking face, it is very playful and affectionate. It is a popular companion among women. While there is some debate on to whether or not it files into the "ugly" or "cute" category, many girls find this Pokémon very appealing. It is not aggressive and tends to prefer to scare away its opponent rather than fight.

In Pikachu's Vacation Snubbull is the leader of the group that fights against Pikachu and co.
During the early Johto saga, beginning in Snubbull Snobbery, a Snubbull chases Team Rocket's Meowth and tries to bite his tail. She followed Meowth until evolving in The Trouble With Snubbull.
In the manga
Blue first traded her Snubbull with Silver's Horsea before but then they traded them again. Her Snubbull evolved into Granbull in FRLG Saga.

- The route that Snubbull swarms on in Diamond and Pearl is also its National Dex number: 209.
- Snubbull and Granbull share the same species name with Clefairy and Clefable. They are all known as Fairy Pokémon.
- Even though Snubbull and Granbull are based on the bulldog, usually portrayed as male, they are more likely to be female; however, Snubbull has a distinct feminine appearance, while Granbull is the opposite.
- Snubbull's English name was initially going to be spelled Snubble, as early Pokémon First Movie merchandise spell it.
