Probopass (Japanese: ダイノーズ Dainose) is a Rock/Steel-type Pokémon.
Biology
Physiology
Probopass has small round eyes, in contrast to Nosepass's perpetually closed ones. Its nose is much bigger in proportion to its body and has a bushy "moustache." The "moustache" appears to be iron filings caught by a magnet. It has three small objects on its sides and back that look like Nosepass; they are also called "Mini-Noses" by the Pokédex entry. These "Mini-Noses" can be detached and form a new Nosepass. It also has a big hat-like magnet on top of its head.

- Some people have cited a resemblance to Mario, another Nintendo character
Origin
Probopass is based off of the Pukau wearing Moai statues of Easter Island (with a mustache added). It also looks like a Mr. Potato Head and somewhat resembles Nintendo's mascot Mario.
Name origin
Probopass is a combination of proboscis and compass
Dainose's name is a combination of "Dai", Japanese for "big", and nose.
