Bounce (Japanese: とびはねる Bounce) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation III.
Effect
The user bounces up high on the first turn, avoiding most moves. Gust, Twister, Thunder, and Sky Uppercut have normal accuracy against a mid-air Pokémon, with all but Sky Uppercut also gaining doubled power. The user may also be hit in mid-air if it was previously targeted by Lock-On or Mind Reader or if it is attacked by a Pokémon with No Guard. On the second turn, the user slams down onto the target, inflicting damage with a 30% chance of paralyzing it.

Trivia
- In Generation III, the only four Pokémon to learn Bounce were not Flying-type and therefore would not normally receive STAB from it. The only way a Pokémon could receive STAB from Bounce would be for Spoink or Grumpig to use Skill Swap to change their ability to Color Change, then be hit with a Flying-type move.
