Yūji Ueda (Japanese: うえだゆうじ Ueda Yūji) is a Japanese voice actor for the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Ueda was born on June 15, 1967, in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, and became a voice actor as an adult. He previously used the kanji form of his name as his stage name, 上田祐司. He joined the Pokémon anime since it started airing, and he is best known as the voices of Brock and Jessie's Wobbuffet. He has also provided several voices for minor characters, as well as the voices of many Pokémon. Ueda is married to fellow voice actor Omi Minami. He was initially affiliated with Arts Vision, but he left on July 1, 2004, and then joined Office Osawa on April 1, 2005.
