List of internet event Pokémon distributions (Generation VIII)

This is a reverse-chronological list of event Pokémon distributions that were given away via the internet to Pokémon games in Generation VIII. An active subscription to Nintendo Switch Online is not required to claim Mystery Gifts on Nintendo Switch games.

Hidden Ability Galarian Pokémon

These Galarian Pokémon with their Hidden Abilities are to be distributed in the weeks before the release of the first part of the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass; The Isle of Armor. Each Pokémon distribution is also complemented with a separate item distribution. Each distribution lasts exactly a week, with the event changing Thursday at 5:00 PM PDT.

• A Galarian Mr. Mime with its Hidden Ability, Ice Body, is being distributed from May 21 to 28, 2020. Players can also receive a pack of rare Poké Balls, including a Lure Ball, a Moon Ball, a Heavy Ball, and a Dream Ball.
• A Galarian Ponyta with its Hidden Ability, Anticipation, will be distributed from May 28 to June 4, 2020. Players can also receive another pack of rare Poké Balls, including a Level Ball, a Fast Ball, a Love Ball, a Friend Ball, and a Beast Ball.
• A Galarian Corsola with its Hidden Ability, Cursed Body, will be distributed from June 4 to 11, 2020. Players can also recieve an "Evolution Item Set" that contains a Sweet Apple, a Tart Apple, a Chipped Pot, a Cracked Pot, a Sachet, and a Whipped Dream.
• A Galarian Meowth with its Hidden Ability, Unnerve, will be distributed from June 11 to 18, 2020. Players can also recieve 50 Big Nuggets and 100 Exp. Candies L.

This Meowth with a Gigantamax Factor can be received in the Pokémon Sword and Shield via Mystery Gift from November 15, 2019 to January 15, 2020. This Meowth has a special G-Max Move called G-Max Gold Rush and can not evolve into Persian.
