Effect

Tart Apples are required to evolve certain Pokémon in Pokémon GO. They are consumed upon use.

• Applin requires 200 Applin Candy and 20 Tart Apples to evolve into Flapple.

Tapping apples that appear near PokéStops can award either Tart Apples, Sweet Apples, or an encounter with a wild Applin. Apples will also have an increased chance of appearing at PokéStops with Mossy Lure Modules.
