The Pokémon Fan Club (Japanese: ポケモン 大好きクラブ Pokémon Lovers Club) is an organization spread throughout the Pokémon world, with at least one Club House in nearly every region. The club is considered a place for people to meet and chat about their favorite Pokémon and to show off their collections to each other. In general, the members are usually more oriented to unevolved, cute Pokémon and Pokémon Contests than Pokémon battles.
In the core series games
The Chairman of the Pokémon Fan Club has appeared in many of the core series Pokémon games. Gabby and Ty often visit the Club House in Hoenn to do interviews with enthusiastic Trainers.
Trainers of the Poké Fan Trainer class are members of the Pokémon Fan Club. In Platinum, members of the Pokémon Fan Club randomly appear in the Battle Frontier facilities.
In Pokémon Emerald, there is a tutor in the Slateport Fan Club who will teach Swagger to a compatible Pokémon, but only once.
In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the Fan Club Chairman will offer a heart-themed background for the photos shot in the Alola Photo Club if the player has a Pokémon with high affection.

In the anime
The Pokémon Fan Club first appeared in Hypno's Naptime, where it was referred to as the Pokémon Lover's Club in the English dub. Its headquarters are located at the very top of a skyscraper in the middle of HopHopHop Town, and its members appear to be mostly middle-aged adults who love and care about Pokémon.
After several children went missing in the town, Ash, his friends, and Officer Jenny were able to find a potential clue at the Pokémon Lover's Club. It was there where they learned that all of the members suffer from insomnia. After having the club's Drowzee evolve into Hypno, the club members had it use Hypnosis on them. However, an unforeseen side-effect caused children who were exposed to the wave to act like Pokémon, and all the Pokémon in town to become sleepy. With the help of the club's other Drowzee, the problem was solved, and the club stopped using Pokémon to help with their insomnia.
In Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire and Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl, the Contest judge Mr. Sukizo is introduced as the President of the Pokémon Fan Club. However, the English dub initially referred to the club as the Pokémon enthusiast club in All Things Bright and Beautifly! and as the Pokémon Enthusiasts' Club in Win, Lose or Drew! rather than as the Pokémon Fan Club.
In All Dressed Up With Somewhere To Go!, Rhonda revealed that the members of the Pokémon Fan Club are responsible for organizing the annual Pokémon Dress-Up Contest.
In the manga
Pokémon Adventures
Pokémon Fan Clubs are found in Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh regions. In Kanto and Hoenn, the club houses are marked with plaques featuring a Pikachu located in front of the building, while the Sinnoh club house is shown having a heart-shaped plaque in front of the building.
Red, Green & Blue arc
The Kanto branch was introduced in Danger: High Voltorb. Red was made an honorary member of the club by the club's chairman after he saw Red's Pokémon. The members are primarily made up of a group of middle-aged Pokémon fans who talk about their favorite Pokémon and read the club magazine. They hate to force Pokémon into battles and they prefer unevolved ones, because they're cuter. Many of their members' Pokémon were stolen by Lt. Surge, but Red managed defeat him and recover the stolen Pokémon.
Ruby & Sapphire arc
The Hoenn branch was introduced in Tripped Up by Torkoal, where the Pokémon club's chairman brought Ruby to the club house after making him an honorary member.
Diamond & Pearl arc
The Sinnoh branch was introduced in Perturbed by Pachirisu, where Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum were made honorary members of the club and taken to the club house by the chairman.
Pokémon
These Pokémon were shown being owned by the Kanto fan club members. Most of the Pokémon are small and often considered cute.

Pokémon Zensho
The Fan Club appeared in Vermilion City, where it was visited by Satoshi, who was forced to listen to the chairman making a long speech about his favorite Pokémon.
In the TCG

Pokémon Fan Club was introduced as a Supporter card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English e-Card Series (the Japanese e-Card Era). First released in the Japanese The Town on No Map expansion, it later debuted in English in the Aquapolis expansion, with both prints featuring an illustration by Ken Sugimori. It was later reprinted in Japanese as one of the PCG-P Promotional cards and in English in POP Series 4, with a new illustration by Ken Sugimori. It was reprinted yet again in the Japanese Wild Blaze expansion, both as a regular card and a Full Art card. The regular print features an illustration based on the Yusuke Ohmura artwork of both genders of the Generation VI Poké Fan Trainer class, while the Full Art print features the debut artwork of Emi Ando.
