Go, Go, Team Flare! (Japanese: フレーフレーフレア団!) was a villain event in Pokémon Masters EX. It tied into the second part of the Kalos chapter of the Villain Arc, featuring battles against Team Flare. It was one of the Kalos villain events, the other being Battle! Friends from Kalos.
During this event, players could earn vouchers and Xerneas Crystals from battles against Team Flare that could be redeemed in the shop for rewards, including a power boost for Professor Sycamore & Xerneas that would give them additional tiles on their sync grid. Obtaining 2,000 vouchers would reward players with a medal. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day.
This event featured the Battle Challenge, where players were challenged to defeat a team of strong opponents. Players could complete event missions by clearing these areas using various theme skills, earning medals and other rewards.
All sync pairs with the Normal or Kalos theme skills received a bonus to their Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk and Sp. Def stats when used for this event, with the amount of the bonus varying between areas.
First run
The event first ran from February 13 to March 6, 2023. The "Sygna Suit Lysandre Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Lysandre & Volcanion for the duration of the event. The "Anabel Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Anabel & Snorlax starting on February 15, 2023 and lasting until the end of the event. The "Emma Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Emma & Crobat starting on February 17, 2023 and lasting until the end of the event.
In this run, players could earn Event Vouchers V from battles. Event missions rewarded players with Gems and Battle Points for completing any of these battles a certain number of times, and the Battle Challenge mission rewards included a Tech and a Support Move Candy Coin.
Additionally, the music and artwork on the title screen were different than usual. The title screen artwork depicted Sygna Suit Diantha & Diancie (in its Mega-Evolved form), Sygna Suit Lysandre & Volcanion, Anabel, and Emma, and the background music wasDecisive Battle! (Lysandre) (Pokémon Masters EX Version). In addition, a special voice-over line of Lysandre saying "Pokémon Masters EX" would play as soon as the game's logo appeared on the title screen.
When the event began, there was a typo in the objective for Mission 12. This mission required players to complete the second-round Battle Challenge using at least one sync pair with the Gadgeteer theme skill and at least one sync pair with the Grown Woman theme skill on their team, but the intent was only for players to complete the battle with at least one Grown Woman sync pair on their team. The bug was fixed on February 17, 2023, and all players received 300 Gems as compensation. However, this did not reset the rewards for the mission, so players who had already completed the more difficult version of the mission were not able to earn the reward—a Tech Move Candy Coin—again.[1]
Second run
The event reran from November 26 to December 6, 2023. The "Double Feature Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Diantha & Diancie and Anabel & Snorlax from November 24 to the end of the event.
In this run, players could earn Event Vouchers W from battles, and the amount of vouchers received as completion rewards was increased drastically. The mission rewards were changed to only award Gems and medals, and Mission 12 had the intended objective from the start.
If the player had already received Professor Sycamore & Xerneas's power boost, exchanging for it in the shop again would reward the player with a 3★ Power-Up.

Trivia
- Go, Go, Team Flare! was the only villain event to give a strength bonus to sync pairs of a specific type.
- It was also the only villain event to give a strength bonus to more sync pairs than the other villain event from its region, as Battle! Friends from Kalos only gave a strength bonus to Kalos sync pairs.
