As of Pokémon Shuffle version 1.5.7 (3DS)/ ??.??.?? (Mobile), most special stages run on an automated 24-week schedule, set to repeat through 2037.
Overview
The 24-week schedule began on February 13, 2018 at 6:00 AM UTC, starting with week 1. The day increments every day at 6:00 AM UTC, and the week increments every Tuesday at 6:00 AM UTC.
- Note that Shuffle does not account for daylight savings time, and therefore uses time zone offsets according to standard time. Therefore, if a player's system is set to daylight savings time, then the day will increment at 5:00 AM UTC instead.
However, certain events are not subject to the 24-week schedule, instead occurring on specific days of the week, month, or year.
This week
Currently, it is Wednesday, Jun 26, 11:02:25 AM UTC.
This is part of week 21 (Jun 25, 06:00:00 AM - Jul 2, 05:59:59 AM) in the cycle.

Choosing the correct column will drop Coins into it, and then transition the board into a more-open layout. During the game's live service, the correct column would change each day.
