Seismic Toss (Japanese: ちきゅうなげ Earth Throw) is a Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I that deals a varying amount of damage.
Effect
Seismic Toss does damage equal to the user's level. The damage is not altered by weakness or resistance, except when a Pokémon is immune.
In Generation I, Seismic Toss hits Ghost-type Pokémon, even though the type has immunity to any other Fighting-type move. In subsequent generations, the type mechanics were corrected so that Ghost-type Pokémon correctly became immune to Seismic Toss.
