Raoul Contesta (Japanese: コンテスタ Contesta) is a character in the Pokémon anime. He is a Pokémon contest judge. His Japanese voice actor is 坂口候一 Kōichi Sakaguchi and his English voice actors are Mike Pollock (Template:4Kids dub) and Craig Blair (TPCi dub).
Contesta is the main contest judge, and also the Pokémon contest director. He is usually the first one to comment on the Pokémon, and the one who offers advice to the coordinators. When May kept forcing her Bulbasaur to continue battling in Cruisin' for a Losin', Contesta yelled at her for not knowing when to stop the battle, and criticized her for not caring about her Pokémon.
In The Ribbon Cup Caper, Contesta helped look for the Ribbon Cup, which had been stolen by Brodie.
