A Principal (Japanese: こうちょう Principal) is a unique Trainer class introduced in Generation VII. It belongs to Asuka, the principal of the Trainers' School on Route 1 in Alola. The player can battle her after becoming Champion.

The Principal is visually identical to female Veterans in Sun and Moon.
