A Nurse (Japanese: ナース Nurse) is a type of Pokémon Trainer introduced in Generation V. Battling them is optional; they do not challenge the Trainer upon sight, but instead when spoken to. Upon being defeated, the Nurse will heal the Trainer's party fully, and any time spoken to afterwards. Some will give out Max Revives when defeated. They are the female counterparts of Doctors. They tend to use Pokémon with healing properties, like Audino, or Template:Type2s. Nurses will use Full Heals during battle if their Pokémon are afflicted with status ailments.
