A Cowgirl (Japanese: カウガール Cowgirl) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that debuted in the Generation IV games. They are depicted as young women in cowgirl outfits. Most are found near Solaceon Town.

Cowgirls are the female counterparts of Ranchers. When one of each is paired in a Double Battle, they are called Ranchers.

Unlike many other Trainer classes, Cowgirls do not seem to specialize in any certain type of Pokémon.
