Blue (game)/Yellow

This is a list of the teams of the rival, a.k.a. Blue, in Pokémon Yellow. As this game uses non-traditional starter Pokémon, Blue will start with Eevee. Blue will evolve his Eevee into Vaporeon, Flareon, or Jolteon, depending on the results of his early battles against the player.

• Vaporeon: Blue defeats the player at Prof. Oak's lab in Pallet Town. Then, either Blue defeats the player on Route 22 or the player skips that battle entirely.
• Flareon: The player defeats Blue either at Prof. Oak's lab or on Route 22, while losing or skipping the other battle.
• Jolteon: The player defeats Blue both at Prof. Oak's lab and on Route 22.
