Discharge (Japanese: ほうでん Electrical Discharge) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Discharge damages all adjacent Pokémon on the field except the user and has a 30% chance of paralyzing each of them.
In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, Discharge attacks every enemy in the room, every enemy within 2 squares in passageways and every enemy within a square in very dimly lit passageways.

Trivia
- The only Pokémon to not receive STAB from Discharge—the Nosepass, Klink, and Porygon evolution families—are each able to learn at least 3 Electric-type moves by leveling up.
- Prior to Generation V, it was the only Electric-type move that hits more than one Pokémon.
