Yuha's father is a minor recurring character who first appeared in Where the Land Meets the Sky. He is a resident of Pericarp Town along with his great-grandmother and his son, Yuha.
When the Rising Volt Tacklers arrived in Pericarp Town after being led there by the Black Rayquaza, they were greeted by Yuha and his father. Yuha demanded they leave, as he believed the Black Rayquaza to be an omen of disaster after hearing stories about it from his great-great-grandmother. Hoping the matriarch's age meant she knew something about Laqua, Friede asked Yuha's father to take him to see his great-grandmother.
He also made a brief cameo in The Earthshaking White Zygarde.
Yuha's father reappeared in HZ133 and HZ134.
