A new guest

Back at Hotel Z you will hold another Team MZ strategy meeting. All of you agree to pay off Urbain/Taunie’s original $100,000 debt putting an end to the Rust Syndicate saga. However, as soon as you say this Corbeau will show up to the hotel and ask to check in.

The next morning he comes down to meet you all in the lobby, and thanks everyone for the excellent service. He pays AZ for the room, and gives Urbain/Taunie a huge tip as the housekeeper. At that moment Philippe comes in asking for the money they owe, and wouldn’t you know it, it’s the same amount that Corbeau just gave them as a tip. With everything settled Team MZ is ready to get back to their usual business.

AZ then comes along and gives Lida and Naveen Mega Stones and Mega Rings so they can Mega Evolve their partners Starmie and Scrafty. This will launch our next quest, Main Mission 25: A Showdown on the Battle Court.

Walking with wilds

Wild Zone 16 and Wild Zone 17 are now unlocked with some new Pokémon we can add to our rosters. You can also pick up a Galarian Stunfisk by completing Side Mission 072 near Wild Zone 11.

Wild Zone 16

Wild Zone 16 is a must visit as it is full of potential Mega Pokémon. Falinks is very common and decently easy to catch, and the Alpha Ampharos is a ready made high-level threat. Near the Alpha Ampharos you can also find TM076 Liquidation. In the day, you can also pick up Medicham, perfect for the Mega Medicham side mission, and at night Barbaracle and Starmie are both available. Be warned Starmie and Florges are rare spawns that sometimes appear in front of the Florges statue, but they don’t always turn up. Froakie is always atop the monument in the middle but can be a little difficult to catch.

Wild Zone 17

Wild Zone 17 has a few more Mega targets. There is the Alpha Mawile on the roof if you’re feeling brave, and if you look at the skies above the pride of Pyroar you’ll see Skarmory as long as it isn’t raining. Pyroar are far easier to catch at night as they are asleep. If you missed out on Chespin, you can find one here in the Diggersby holes. Lampent is our last Mega target as it evolves into Chandelure with the Dusk Stone. You can also find TM062 Flamethrower behind the Mega Mawile.

Battle of the buddies

Approach your three companions in the centre of the court. First you’ll fight Lida. Even though AZ has given her the Starminite, she hasn’t evolved her Staryu into Starmie, and therefore can’t use the Mega Stone. In addition to her level 48 Staryu, she also has a level 46 Clawitzer and Vanillish, and a level 47 Emolga. Due to her low levels and the fact that not all of her Pokémon are fully evolved, she isn’t too difficult to defeat.

Next up is Naveen, and he is ready to Mega Evolve. His team is slightly higher level than Lida’s and his Mega Scrafty with Power-Up Punch is particularly dangerous. He has a level 48 Ariados and Sableye, a level 49 Krookodile, and a level 50 Mega Scrafty.

Luckily, you don’t need to battle Urbain/Taunie and this battle brings Main Mission 25 to a close.
