Outside of battle
Generation IV
In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver only, if a Pokémon with Super Luck breaks a rock and finds an item, the game will instead pick the item below it in the game's list, unless it was the 5% item (this effectively means it will never find the most common item).
Generation VIII
If a Pokémon with this Ability leads the party (even if fainted ), the chances of finding a wild Pokémon holding an item increase from 50%/5% to 60%/20%. This effect is shared with Compound Eyes .
Generation IX
In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet , Super Luck has no effect on the items held by wild Pokémon.
