Trivia
- This move's name may be a pun on chloroplast, a chlorophyll-rich organelle in plant and algae cells responsible for photosynthesis.
- Chloroblast is tied with Frenzy Plant for the highest base power of all Grass-type attacks, excluding Z-Moves, Max Moves, and G-Max Moves.
- Chloroblast is the only move to have its recoil negated by Rock Head but not receive a boost from Reckless.
