Ray Rizzo at the 2012 Pokémon World Championships

Ray Rizzo is a video game player from the United States who was Pokémon Video Game World Champion for three consecutive years. He won in the Senior Division in the 2010 World Championships, Masters Division in the 2011 World Championships, and Masters Division in the 2012 World Championships. His streak came to an end in the 2013 World Championships, where he came in 26th place within the Masters Division.

He was interviewed in the December 2010 issue of Nintendo Power, and appeared in an episode of Pokémon Get☆TV on September 14, 2014.

Ray Rizzo and his winning team from the 2012 World Championships appear in the Pokémon World Tournament downloadable tournament 2012 Masters Division Challenge.



Event Pokémon

A Metagross based on Rizzo's was distributed at National Qualifiers for the 2012 Pokémon World Championships in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States. It has the original Trainer Ray, but its Trainer ID number is based on the date it was first distributed.
