The Azoth Kingdom (Japanese: アゾット王国 Azoth Kingdom) is an anime-exclusive location in Kalos and one of the settings of Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel.
It is a mechanical kingdom that was built by Nikola using arcane science and arts. The city has many large cogs and gears which power many inventions, including escalators, moving roads, and various transportation devices. Surrounding the kingdom is a large wall that defends the kingdom. Part of the wall can separate from the rest of the kingdom and convert itself into a floating fortress, which was designed to be used in times of emergency. However, the fortress was eventually sealed off due to an uprising about who would control that power. In the events of the movie, Alva stole the Soul-Heart from Magearna and used it to power up the fortress.
Five hundred years ago, Nikola also built Magearna, who acted as the princess's playmate and also protected the princess and the kingdom. However, rather than bringing happiness, the power was abused to incite war and hatred. As a result, Nikola hid Magearna so that it could not be found by anyone.
The current prince of Azoth kingdom is Raleigh and the current princess is Kimia, both descendants of Nikola.
