Suicune (Japanese: スイクン Suikun, German, French: Suicune, Korean: 스이쿤 Suikun) is a Legendary Water-type Pokémon. First appearing in the Generation II games, it is said to be the embodiment of the North Wind, one of the three Legendary Beasts created by Ho-oh after the burning of Ecruteak Tower.
It has appeared a few times in the anime. Its first appearance is in the episode Don't Touch that 'Dile when Ash, Misty, and Brock spot Suicune in the middle of lake. When it spots the group, it runs off. The first significant and lengthy appearance of Suicune is in the Pokémon 4Ever movie. In the course of the movie, it demonstrated its ability to purify water, as well as doing battle with Dark Celebi. Another significant appearance is in the episode For Ho-oh the Bells Toll, it appeared in Ecruteak City after one of the Crystal Bells from the Tin Tower was destroyed.
Suicune is pursued, both in the anime and Pokémon Crystal, by Eusine.
Suicune comes with the Ability Pressure, which causes the foe to use two PP instead of one each time it uses a move.
Suicune does not evolve, and no Pokémon evolves into it.
