Hisuian Poké Balls first appeared in JNS01, as part of the Sinnoh Fest. Cynthia gave Ash, Goh, and Dawn an old Poké Ball each, replicated using old schematics, and challenged them to catch a Rowlet, a Cyndaquil, and an Oshawott with them.
In JNS04, Rei was seen crafting some Hisuian Poké Balls.
