Trivia
- As of Generation V, Bachuru is the smallest Pokémon in existence, measuring at only 10cm tall. The smallest Pokémon previously were double its height, at 20cm, only eight inches, tall.
- No other Pokémon has the same type-combination as Bachuru and its evolution.
Origin
Its Pokedex entry states that it latches onto to larger Pokémon to drain the static electricity off them, so it may be based on a tick, though its size seems to imply it is based on a mite. Like its evolution, it is also based on a tarantula, most likely the Brachypelma smithi, or a jumping spider.
