Route 102 is an east-west route located in western Hoenn. Its eastern terminus is at Oldale Town and its western terminus is at Petalburg City. This is where the players meet their first (non-rival) Trainer battles.
Route description
From Oldale, the route heads southwest, passing a small pond, a patch of grass and a trainer. After crossing paths with Youngster Calvin, the route turns northwest, straddling a pair of grass patches in which the player can face Bug Catcher Rick and passing Youngster Allen. North of this patch, the route comes to a T-intersection.
Lass Tiana can be found on the west path and also leads the player to Petalburg City, while the east path leads to a loamy soil patch containing Oran and Pecha berries. South of the final grass patch is a small area of grass enclosed by large trees. Located amidst the grass is a Potion.
