Switcheroo (Japanese: すりかえ Secret Switch) is a non-damaging Dark-type move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Generation IV
The user switches held items with the target. It fails if neither has a held item, if either Pokémon is holding Griseous Orb or Mail, if the target has a Substitute, or if either Pokémon has Sticky Hold. It also fails if either Pokémon has Multitype and either of the swapped items is a Plate.
Generation V
Switcheroo will now succeed with a Griseous Orb as long as neither the user nor the target is Giratina.
Switcheroo cannot exchange a Drive if the user or the target is a Genesect.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
Switcheroo fails if either Pokémon is not holding an item.
