In the core series games

Pokémon the Series
In Pokémon the Series, Shalour Gym is located inside the Tower of Mastery, as was revealed in Origins of Mega Evolution!. Similarly to the games, the Shalour Gym features some Roller Skate rails in Pokémon the Series; Korrina rode on them while arriving to battle Ash.
Pokémon the Series: XY
Shalour Gym first appeared in Origins of Mega Evolution!. In the next episode, Ash started his Gym battle against Korrina, and was able to defeat her Mienfoo and Machoke without losing any of his own Pokémon. Korrina then used her Mega Lucario, who defeated Ash's Fletchinder and Hawlucha with ease. Ash then used his Pikachu, who managed to defeat Lucario after a tough battle, thus ending the match with Ash's victory and earning him the Rumble Badge.
In A Diamond in the Rough!, Alain defeated Korrina with his Charizard during a Gym battle, thus earning himself his own Rumble Badge. The start of this battle was briefly seen during the introduction scene of Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel.
