The Grass Gem (Japanese: くさのジュエル Grass Jewel) is a type of held item introduced in Generation V. It is one of the Gems and is an unobtainable held item in Generation VI onwards.

When held by a Pokémon, it increases the power of the first Grass-type move used by 50%, and is consumed after use.
Fling will fail if the user is holding a Grass Gem. Grass Pledge will never consume a Grass Gem.
