The Fairy Gem (Japanese: フェアリージュエル Fairy Jewel ) is a type of held item that first appeared in game data in Generation VI . It is one of the Gems . It cannot be obtained in any game.
In the core series games Price Effect When held by a Pokémon, it increases the power of the first Fairy-type move used by 30%, and is consumed after use.
Fling will fail if the user is holding a Fairy Gem.
