The Parcel (Japanese: おとどけもの Parcel), originally known as Oak's Parcel, is a Key Item introduced in Generation I.
Terminology
English
In the Generation I games and their Generation III remakes, the English name was adapted as "Oak's Parcel", even though Oak's name is not present in the Japanese name.
In Generation IV, the English name was shortened to "Parcel" since the item was being delivered to Barry for the first time. However, the short English name "Parcel" remained even as the player was required to deliver this to Professor Oak again in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!.

Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Brilliant Diamond, and Shining Pearl
When brought to the player's rival in Jubilife City's Trainers' School, the Parcel will be opened, revealing that it contains two Town Maps. The player and their rival take one each.
