The Member Card (Japanese: メンバーズカード Member's Card) is a Key event item available in Pokémon Platinum. It is only obtainable through a Nintendo Event; while it is in the code for Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, it was never distributed for them. The player must have activated Mystery Gift in order to receive the gift via Wi-Fi. It is the second of the four event items in the Sinnoh-based games, being preceded by the Secret Key and followed by Oak's Letter.
The Member Card grants the player access to the Harbor Inn in Canalave City. Shortly after, the player will meet a strange old man, have a nightmare, and travel to Newmoon Island, where Darkrai can be obtained. If Darkrai is obtained, a booming voice will talk to the player and the player will wake up from their nightmare with Darkrai either in their party or in the PC. The player can rebattle Darkrai again, if fled from or fainted.
Before the player may enter the Harbor Inn using the Member Card, the player must first meet Cresselia, obtain the Lunar Wing, and use it to dispel the nightmares Darkrai inflicts on Eldritch's son.

Trivia
- Before official distribution, the Member Card featured many different names including: Member's Card, Membership Pass, Member's Pass, etc. until it was revealed to officially be called the Member Card.
- In the Member Card's description, it says that the last date marked on it was 50 years ago. On the official artwork, it is labeled "1958.12.1", exactly 50 years before the first Japanese distribution.
- When receiving it from the man in the Poké Mart, it will display its name as "Member's Card", though in the Bag, it is simply "Member Card".
- The Member Card opening the door of an inn is somewhat similar to the way some hotels today use key cards for room access.
