V (Volt) (Japanese: Ｖ（ボルト） lit. V (Boruto)) is the first opening song of the XY series. It debuted with a special broadcast called Pocket Monsters XY: Road to Kalos. It replaced Summerly Slope of the Best Wishes series.

- The Gym Leaders' order was changed so that it matches the order they are fought in Pokémon X and Y.
- Ash's Froakie now has a Water Pulse sphere in each of its hands.
- The effects on the Xerneas and Yveltal scene are slightly different.
Errors
- During the scene with a rainy town, a female Meowstic can be seen with a male Meowstic's tail.
