A Ranger Base is where a team of Pokémon Rangers meet up to discuss missions. All Ranger Bases are equipped with save machines so that players may record their progress as well as an Operator stationed to recharge Capture Stylers.
Pokémon Rangers often use Ranger Bases as their home. Area Rangers will often meet at a Base before going on any missions, however, Top Rangers often congregate at the Ranger Union, located to the west of Pueltown.
In the Fiore region, there are four Ranger Bases. Ringtown, Fall City, Summerland, and Wintown. The Rangers of those cities report each of these bases after patrol, to receive their Ranger Missions and to talk with their leaders and the other Rangers.
In the Almia region, there is only one Ranger Base, which is located in Vientown. Barlow, Crawford, Luana, Elaine, and at one point, the player work at the base. All other Area and Top Rangers work out of the Ranger Union.
