Trivia
- Many non-Grass-type Pokémon can learn this move from the tutor in Pokémon Platinum. It shares this trait with Gunk Shot, of which many non-Poison-type Pokémon can learn from a tutor.
- Seed Bomb could be considered somewhat a physical counterpart to Energy Ball. The only difference between the two aside from their damage category and PP is that Energy Ball has an added effect.
