Chymia (Japanese: キミア Chymia) is a character in the third XY movie, Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. She is the princess of the Azoth Kingdom, Rali's sister, and a descendant of Magearna's creator Nikola.
Kimia (Japanese: キミア Kimia) is a major character who appeared in Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. She is the princess of the Azoth Kingdom, Raleigh's sister, and a descendant of Magearna's creator Nikola.

History
In the movies
Chymia is first seen in the movie using her own flying device to observe Volcanion after being informed of its presence by her personal assistant, Flamel. She later questions Rali about what he and Alva are up to.
Kimia and Raleigh grew up together in the Azoth Kingdom's castle. Although they were close as children, they grew apart over time, particularly due to the influence of Alva, the kingdom's Mega Evolution Councillor. While Raleigh focused on researching the kingdom's history and developing his skill with arcane science, the same area of expertise as Alva, Kimia became very active and focused more on the kingdom's future.

Later, when Ash, Ashfr and Magearna are attacked by TRT, Chymia appears with her own shiny Mega Gardevoir to defeat Team Rocket. Afterwards, Chymia informs the group that while Rali trusts in Alva she does not and suspects Alva holds an ulterior motive. They then use Chymia's airship to reach Nebel Plateau.
She first appeared in the movie walking to a secret garage within the castle while speaking to her personal assistant Flamel via holographic wristwatch. Flamel informed her that the Pokémon reported to have been sighted in the Azoth Kingdom was Volcanion. Kimia boarded a motorbike that transformed into a flying machine and traveled over to a nearby flight pad, where she discovered Raleigh and Alva together in the presence of Volcanion and Magearna. She watched from afar as Volcanion flew off with Magearna and a magnetized Ash in tow. Later, she and Flamel confronted Raleigh in a hallway within the castle. She expressed concern over Alva's trustworthiness and told Raleigh that both she and their father were worried about him, but her brother rejected her pleas to listen and walked off.

After Magearna is captured, Chymia, Ash, his friends and Volcanion head back to Azoth kingdom using Chymia's airship. As they near the kingdom, Flamel contacts Chymia and informs her that Alva intends to use the Soul-Heart to activate the hidden mechanisms within the castle. Upon reaching the flying fortress, the group head to the control room to confront Alva but get trapped by his torture traps.
That night, Kimia tracked down Ash and ashfr in the forest between the Azoth Kingdom and the Nebel Plateau. She found them in the middle of a conflict with TRT, who had joined Alva's cause and were given Mega Wave wristbands, along with a Heracross and Pinsir, for use in capturing Magearna. Kimia landed her ship and sent out her Shiny Gardevoir, which she Mega Evolved. Once Volcanion exploded to drive Team Rocket and their Pokémon away, she introduced herself to Magearna, who recognized her as a relative of the princess Nikola had originally created the Artificial Pokémon as a playmate for. In response, Magearna produced some flowers for her, much to her delight. Despite Volcanion's displeasure, Kimia joined the group on their trip to the Nebel Plateau.

After Alva is defeated, the group evacuate the flying fortress using Chymia's airship in order to allow Volcanion to destroy the falling fortress.
The next day, Kimia told the group about her and Raleigh's past and explained how Alva mentored Raleigh in the history of the kingdom and arcane science for several years, thus molding Raleigh's loyalty despite her concerns that Alva had ulterior motives. Their trip was interrupted when a Fletchling informed Volcanion of a crisis nearby and brought them to an injured Amaura being targeted by a Pokémon hunter. During their brief conflict with the poacher, he fired a rocket at Volcanion, causing it to fall into Kimia's ship and damage it. Once the hunter was defeated, the group was forced to continue on foot the rest of the way and soon arrived at the Nebel Plateau. Kimia watched as Serena helped heal Amaura, and that night, Clemont assisted her in repairing the damage to her ship.

At the end of the movie, Chymia and Rali return to Azoth kingdom with Ash and his friends. Later, Chymia and Gardevoir discover Alva tangled in the wreckage of his flightpack in a tree. She arrests him using the magnetic bands used on Volcanion and Ash, keeping him from fleeing even though he attempts to. Chymia also watches Rali leave on his own journey.
The repairs lasted all the way into the following morning, when Clemont accidentally discovered a way to remove the magnetic belts binding Ash and Volcanion together. Kimia flew Clemont, Serena, and Bonnie up to Volcanion's cave, along with a Gulpin whose acid could melt through the belts. Later, she assisted Serena in cooking Poké Puffs for the Pokémon of the Plateau, leading to a better sense of understanding between them and the humans. However, not long after, Alva's forces launched an assault on the Plateau, utilizing charged chains to hold the Pokémon as hostages. Alva's henchmen Levi and Cherie arrived with their entire army of Mega Wave Pokémon, threatening to torture the Pokémon until Magearna surrendered to them. Unable to allow its friends to suffer, Magearna agreed and was brought up to Alva's airship, where Kimia was angered to see Raleigh. Alva promptly showed his true nature and betrayed Raleigh, taking the Soul-Heart out of Magearna and effectively killing it. Alva discarded Magearna's body and decided to eliminate the threats to his plan by attempting to kill Kimia, Ash, his friends, and the Pokémon of the Plateau by using his army's collective Hyper Beam attack.

Character
However, Kimia and the others survived after the Pokémon used Protect to block Alva's attack. They recovered Magearna's body and set off in pursuit of Alva aboard Kimia's ship. Flamel contacted Kimia via wristwatch and informed her of a previously unknown blueprint for a flying fortress found in Raleigh's room. By this time, however, Alva had already installed the Soul-Heart in the fortress's power mechanism, causing it to detach from the kingdom's wall and rise into the air. Alva attempted to shoot Kimia's ship down using the fortress's laser cannon, only for Magearna to resist his control from within the Soul-Heart and make the cannon misfire. As Kimia's ship approached the fortress, Levi and Cherie attacked using their Mega Wave Pokémon army, but the group managed to break through and land.
Throughout the movie, Chymia is concerned for Rali's involvement with Alva's plan since she does not trust in Alva. She is also highly active and utilizes a number of machines to travel around.

Pokémon
While Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie fought the army on the surface, Kimia and Gardevoir accompanied Volcanion, Ash, and Greninja into the fortress to save Magearna and Raleigh. They broke into the fortress's control room, only to be caught in the same charged chains used at the Nebel Plateau. Alva forced them to watch as he used Gengar's power to remove Magearna's ability to resist him. He fired the laser at the Nebel Plateau, but with what little influence it could still exert, Magearna forced it to hit the flower field instead. MTR, who was able to understand Magearna's voice, began to cry and told the humans that Magearna's soul has faded from the Soul-Heart, much to the horror of Ash, Kimia, and Volcanion.
This listing is of Chymia's known Pokémon in the anime:

While Volcanion tried and failed to escape the charged chains, Alva fired the laser squarely at the Nebel Plateau. It was resisted by the Pokémon living there and ultimately blocked by Squishy transforming into its List of Pokémon with form differences outside of the humans' notice. Encouraged by this turn of events, Volcanion managed to force its way through the charged chains and break itself, Ash, Kimia, Gardevoir, and Greninja free. This allowed Ash to gain the upper hand against Alva and reacquire the Soul-Heart, but Alva locked the fortress on a collision course with the Nebel Plateau. Then, he attempted to escape, only to be sent falling into the forest below when Greninja's Water Shuriken broke his flightpack.

Kimia watched as Ash installed the Soul-Heart back in Magearna, only to discover that the trauma of Alva's actions had apparently caused its personality to disappear. Meanwhile, Raleigh, who had a change of heart, discovered that he could not override Alva's commands for the fortress. Kimia returned to her ship to aid in an evacuation while Ash, Raleigh, and Volcanion searched for water within the fortress so Volcanion could destroy it from the outside. However, Volcanion instead brought Ash and Raleigh to Kimia before blowing her ship away with its cannons, intending to sacrifice itself to destroy the fortress from within its engine room. Its explosion completely destroyed the craft at the apparent cost of its life.

Returning to the Nebel Plateau, Kimia mourned Volcanion's death and Magearna's current state alongside Raleigh, Ash, and the others. However, a cloud of fog covered the area and Volcanion appeared, terribly injured but still alive. Volcanion collapsed, but was revived by the pollen in Magearna's flowers, much to the delight of Kimia and the others. She watched as Volcanion named Ash and his friends honorary Pokémon of the Nebel Plateau, smiling alongside her brother.

During the movie's credits, Kimia flew the group back to the Azoth Kingdom. They met up with Flamel in the castle, where Bonnie proposed marriage to Flamel on Clemont's behalf. She and Raleigh bade Ash and his friends farewell as they left the kingdom. Kimia and Gardevoir later found Alva tangled in a tree, and detained him using the same magnetic belts used earlier on Ash and Volcanion. She later watched from the castle as Raleigh and his Slurpuff departed on their own Pokémon journey. Once he left, Kimia looked up to the sky and smiled.

Kimia (Japanese: キミア Kimia) is a major character who appeared in Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. She is the princess of the Azoth Kingdom, Raleigh's sister, and a descendant of Magearna's creator Nikola.

In the movies

Kimia and Raleigh grew up together in the Azoth Kingdom's castle. Although they were close as children, they grew apart over time, particularly due to the influence of Alva, the kingdom's Mega Evolution Councillor. While Raleigh focused on researching the kingdom's history and developing his skill with arcane science, the same area of expertise as Alva, Kimia became very active and focused more on the kingdom's future.

That night, Kimia tracked down Ash and his friends in the forest between the Azoth Kingdom and the Nebel Plateau. She found them in the middle of a conflict with Team Rocket, who had joined Alva's cause and were given Mega Wave wristbands, along with a Heracross and Pinsir, for use in capturing Magearna.

Alva discarded Magearna's body and decided to eliminate the threats to his plan by attempting to kill Kimia, Ash, his friends, and the Pokémon of the Plateau by using his army's collective Hyper Beam attack.
