Godey is a character from The Rise of Darkrai. Godey is the ancestor of Tonio and the architect of the Space-Time Tower. He owned a journal that Tonio discovered, revealing that he had seen Alicia playing the song "Oración" on a leaf, surrounded by Pokémon, as well as Darkrai's shadow.

Godey had a nightmare in which Alamos Town was being destroyed by Palkia and Dialga. The only thing that would stop the two from fighting was Oración. He then made a special song disc that would play Oración on the Space-Time towers' chimes. Godey's nightmare would come true many years later and it would be up to Ash and Dawn to carry out his solution.
