==Hoenn Elite Four==

Now that you have reached the upper half of Evergrande City it is time to follow the large path from the exit of [[Victory Road (Hoenn)|Victory Road]] to the large building in the north to where the Elite Four is located. Upon entry, on the upper left corner is the nurse that will heal your Pokémon and the PC that you can exchange items or Pokémon with. On upper right is the [[Poké Mart]] that you can buy items with. Make sure to buy plenty of [[Revive]]s, {{DL|Potion|Max Potion|Max Potion's}} and {{DL|Potion|Full Restore|Full Restore's}} which will come in handy since the Elite Four challenges will be difficult without adequate preparations. The lower left corner is where the escalator to the trade area is located.

The waters of {{rt|126|Hoenn}} surround a massive crater, inside of which lies [[Sootopolis City]]. There's no way to reach the city from the surface, so the entrance must be hidden beneath the waves.

Make sure your team is around Lv. 50 and filled with different types to be able the Elite Fours different teams, just remember if you lose to any of them you will have to start over from the first. Once you are ready talk to the two guys between the merchant and [[Pokémon Center]] healer and show them you have all eight Hoenn badges and they will step aside, so its time to face the Elite Four.

====Rest Up====
The recent shift in weather has frightened all of the city's residents, and they've all taken shelter inside their homes. Their doors are locked tight, so you can't visit with most of the locals right now. The [[Sootopolis Gym]], on an island near the crater entrance, is also closed, so instead Surf eastward to reach the Pokémon Center and rest up for the trial ahead.
 
====Catch Up with Steven====
Surf westward past the Gym to a grassy shore. Climb the north stairway and visit the Poké Mart to stock up on [[Ultra Ball]]s for the cave ahead. Continue north until you run into {{steven}} talking with another man. The man introduces himself as [[Wallace]], Sootopolis Gym Leader and protector of the [[Cave of Origin]]. Seeing your [[Red Orb]]{{sup/3|Ru}}/[[Blue Orb]]{{sup/3|Sa}}, he asks that you follow him. He leads you and Steven to the cave entrance, where the two of them assure you that with the Orb you hold and your Pokémon by your side, it will finally become possible to stand up to the forces of nature!

There's not a moment to lose! Sprint down the entry hall to reach the cave's interior. While {{m|Flash}} is recommended, the path to the final chamber is straightforward enough that it isn't necessary.

Begin with {{t|Grass}}- and {{type|Ice}} moves to deal serious damage, then follow up with {{t|Rock}} and {{t|Poison}} attacks to wear it down further. Bring it down before all of [[Hoenn]] goes up in flames!

Sidney is a {{type2|Dark}} specialist so a {{t|Bug}} or {{type2|Fighting}} will be the best choice to battle with him. {{p|Blaziken}} would be the best choice since it's {{type2|Fire}} abilities will also come in handy with the later challenges. {{p|Swellow}} or {{p|Crobat}} along with either {{p|Manectric}} or {{p|Raichu}} will also help clear out some of the other Pokémon as well. If you don't have Blaziken then {{p|Medicham}}, {{p|Machamp}}, or {{p|Hariyama}} will have to fight in its place. Be careful with {{p|Shiftry}} and {{p|Absol}} since they have a move in the moveset that is effective against Fighting types.

Phoebe is a {{type2|Ghost}} specialist. The best choice is to use a Dark-type like Absol or {{p|Mightyena}}. Avoid use another Ghost-type unless if you have a Pokémon with a Ghost-type move. The only real dangers is that some of her Pokémon have status moves so bring plenty of {{DL|Status ailment healing item|Full Heal|Full Heals}} and Full Restores (or in {{m|Attract}}s case switch out the Pokémon or bring the {{DL|Flute|Red Flute}} or {{DL|In-battle effect item|Herb|Mental Herb}}. Also her {{p|Sableye}} does not have any type it is weak to so most types should bring it down with its weak defenses. It would also be advisable to bring a couple {{DL|Berry|Leppa Berry|Leppa Berries}} as a few of her Pokémon are capable of draining PP from your own Pokémon's moves.
====Aftermath====
With the super-ancient Pokémon's rampage put to an end, the skies quickly clear and the climate returns to normal. Steven can be found waiting for you in front of the Gym, where he thanks you for all you've done. He also thanks you on behalf of Wallace, who has returned to his Gym. Steven encourages you to challenge the final Gym Leader before flying off on his Pokémon's back.

The [[Sootopolis Gym]] Specializes in {{type|Water}} Pokémon. {{t|Grass}}- and {{type|Electric}} moves are best here, while {{t|Fire}}, {{t|Ground}}, and {{t|Rock}} Pokémon may struggle. The Gym features three platforms where each icy tile must be traversed once in order to defrost the next stairway. Walking over an ice tile once cracks it; passing by a second time shatters it, leaving you to fall to the Gym's snowy underbelly where plenty of Trainers await.
 
The first puzzle is a 3×3 grid of ice, with two icy rocks as obstacles. Starting on the south-central tile, move →1, ↑1, ←2, ↑1 and →1. This reveals the first stairway.

[[Wallace]] leads with his {{p|Luvdisc}}; not much of a threat, but it may still confuse its target with {{m|Sweet Kiss}}, and further hinder male targets with {{m|Attract}}. As a {{2t|Water|Ground}} Pokémon, his {{p|Whiscash}} is only vulnerable to Grass moves; its {{m|Rain Dance}} temporarily strengthens Water moves, while {{m|Earthquake}} can deter {{type|Electric}} opponents. {{p|Sealeo}}'s {{2t|Ice|Water}} typing gives it additional weaknesses to {{t|Fighting}} and {{t|Rock}} moves; {{m|Water Pulse}} and {{m|Body Slam}} deal damage while {{m|Encore}} forces the target to repeat its previous move. His {{p|Seaking}} is little threat unless its target is of a lower level than itself, when {{m|Horn Drill}} may score a [[OHKO|one-hit knockout]]. Glacia is a {{type2|Ice}} specialist, so bring Fire, Fighting, or Electric-type Pokémon. If you have Blaziken or any other Fire-type, it would be best to use them on {{p|Glalie}} only, while with {{p|Sealeo}} and {{p|Walrein}} it would be better to use Manectric or Raichu on it, aside from any other fighting type that it is not weak against. The only thing to watch out for is that her Pokémon will mostly use {{m|Hail}} which damages all Pokémon except for Ice types. Also one of her Sealeo can use the Hail/{{m|Blizzard}} combo.

Drake is a {{type2|Dragon}} specialist and is more difficult to beat. Other than Ice types like {{p|Regice}}, Walrein, or Glalie you should bring in a lot of healing items, and also have different types of Pokémon, since most of Drake's team have traits from different types. Pretty much except for one of his {{p|Flygon}} and {{p|Altaria}}, his team has been rigged to counter Ice-types, though Walrein can handle some of these problems since it is part {{type2|Water}}. It is also very ill-advised to bring in a Dragon-type of your own unless if you have a Pokémon that knows a Dragon-type move since every Pokémon that Drake has can counter them. If you decide to use the Hail/Blizzard combo avoid using it when facing one of his Flygon since it can counter Hail with {{m|Sandstorm}}.

It has is time to battle Steven Stone the son of the Devon Corporation President that had assisted you a few times in your quest earlier, after climbing the stairs with the flashing lights on the side you will be in his chamber to face him. Steven is a {{type2|Steel}} specialist, and also has a few non-Steel types. So bring a fire type like Blaziken or {{p|Ninetales}}. If you started out with {{p|Mudkip}} then {{p|Swampert}} will also be a valuable addition for this battle though you can also use {{p|Whiscash}} if you don't have one.  


The Fire, Fighting, and {{type2|Water}}s should be enough to fight this battle The ones to watch out for are {{p|Armaldo}}, {{p|Cradily}}, {{p|Aggron}} and {{p|Metagross}} since they have moves in their movesets to counter Pokémon types they are weak to, like Armaldo and {{m|Water Pulse}} or Aggron and {{m|SolarBeam}}.


===The End?===
Once the battle with the Champion Steven is over he congratulates you for the feelings for your Pokémon coming together with theirs allowing you to obtain victory. Just as Steven announces you as the new champion Brendan/May shows ups and interrupts the conversation to give you some advice to beat the Champion, only to realize that you did actually beat the Champion. [[Professor Birch]] then shows up confirming to Brendan/May that they didn't need to worry. He congratulates you for your win, knowing it was possible after beating your father [[Norman]] at the [[Petalburg Gym]]. After Birch checks your Pokédex, Steven takes you to the [[Hall of Fame]] and your current team is recorded into it. Afterwards the credits will roll.

The waters of Route 126 surround a massive crater, inside of which lies Sootopolis City. There's no way to reach the city from the surface, so the entrance must be hidden beneath the waves.

Sootopolis City rises from the crater of an inactive volcano and can only be reached by sea or sky. The final Gym in the Hoenn League is located here, but there are more urgent matters to attend to first. With Hoenn's weather becoming increasingly oppressive, you must race to the Cave of Origin and stop the super-ancient Pokémon from destroying the entire region!


Rest Up

The recent shift in weather has frightened all of the city's residents, and they've all taken shelter inside their homes. Their doors are locked tight, so you can't visit with most of the locals right now. The Sootopolis Gym, on an island near the crater entrance, is also closed, so instead Surf eastward to reach the Pokémon Center and rest up for the trial ahead.

Catch Up with Steven

Surf westward past the Gym to a grassy shore. Climb the north stairway and visit the Poké Mart to stock up on Ultra Balls for the cave ahead. Continue north until you run into Steven talking with another man. The man introduces himself as Wallace, Sootopolis Gym Leader and protector of the Cave of Origin. Seeing your Red OrbR/Blue OrbS, he asks that you follow him. He leads you and Steven to the cave entrance, where the two of them assure you that with the Orb you hold and your Pokémon by your side, it will finally become possible to stand up to the forces of nature!

The Cave of Origin is said to hold a great source of ancient power. Whatever lies in its uncharted depths, it has drawn the attention of the super-ancient Pokémon. It must be stopped, and only you can save Hoenn from its destructive influence!


Entrance

There's not a moment to lose! Sprint down the entry hall to reach the cave's interior. While Flash is recommended, the path to the final chamber is straightforward enough that it isn't necessary.

1F

Head in a clockwise direction to reach the ladder in the northeast.

B1F

Follow the tunnel to the ladder on the west side.

B2F

Great quakes continue to rock the cave as you descend to its lower floors, and a thick mist begins to swirl around you. Race to the south side to find the next ladder.

B3F

Hurry northward to find HM07 (Waterfall) in the northwest corner, and climb down the ladder in the northeast.

B4F

When you reach the pool's edge in front of the super-ancient Pokémon, the Red OrbR/Blue OrbS suddenly begins to glow. Its power dispels the mist, and causes the ancient creature to attack!

VS GroudonR

Groudon's Drought Ability summons harsh sunlight until it is replaced. This strengthens all Fire moves by 50%, and weakens all Water moves by the same amount. This behemoth specializes in physical Attack and Defense, and is able to boost these stats further with Bulk Up, making it an incredibly formidable opponent. Begin with Grass- and Ice-type moves to deal serious damage, then follow up with Rock and Poison attacks to wear it down further. Bring it down before all of Hoenn goes up in flames!

VS KyogreS

Kyogre's Drizzle Ability summons a rainstorm until it is replaced. This strengthens all Water moves by 50%, and weakens all Fire moves by the same amount. This leviathan excels in Special Attack and Special Defense, and is able to boost these stats further with Calm Mind, making it an incredibly formidable opponent. Start off with Grass- and Electric-type moves to deal serious damage, then follow up with Fire and Ice attacks to wear it down further. Bring it down before all of Hoenn falls beneath the waves!

Aftermath

With the super-ancient Pokémon's rampage put to an end, the skies quickly clear and the climate returns to normal. Steven can be found waiting for you in front of the Gym, where he thanks you for all you've done. He also thanks you on behalf of Wallace, who has returned to his Gym. Steven encourages you to challenge the final Gym Leader before flying off on his Pokémon's back.

The Sootopolis Gym Specializes in Water-type Pokémon. Grass- and Electric-type moves are best here, while Fire, Ground, and Rock Pokémon may struggle. The Gym features three platforms where each icy tile must be traversed once in order to defrost the next stairway. Walking over an ice tile once cracks it; passing by a second time shatters it, leaving you to fall to the Gym's snowy underbelly where plenty of Trainers await.
