As the Grand Festival continues, May, Drew, Harley, and Robert all make it past the first round appeals and soon face off in the second round appeals. While Jessie disguises herself as one of the coordinators to compete, Harley takes his game to the next level, convincing May to only use Skitty's Assist...

- This episode's title may be a pun on the phrase "cease and desist".
- The microphones used by the three Nurse Joy resemble the one used by Jigglypuff.
- Music from Mewtwo Strikes Back was used.
- It is revealed to the audience during this episode that May's Munchlax knows SolarBeam (due to Skitty calling on it while using Assist). Munchlax won't use the move itself until May's Egg-Cellent Adventure.
- This episode is featured on the Volume 17: Skitty copy of Pokémon All-Stars.
- After Ash checked Swalot on his Pokedex he put it in his pocket, but a little later when he put his hand out his pokedex was in his hand.
