Trivia
- This is the 400th episode of the anime to be produced.
- This episode's title may be a pun on the phrase "cease and desist".
- The microphones used by the three Nurse Joy resemble the one used by Jigglypuff.
- Music from Mewtwo Strikes Back was used.
- It is revealed to the audience during this episode that May's Munchlax knows SolarBeam (due to Skitty calling on it while using Assist). Munchlax won't use the move itself until May's Egg-Cellent Adventure.
- This episode is featured on the Volume 17: Skitty copy of Pokémon All-Stars.
Errors
- In the Netherlands dub, Brock says Butterfly instead of Beautifly.
- After Ash checked Swalot on his Pokédex he put it in his pocket, but a little later when he put his hand out his Pokédex was in his hand.
Dub edits
Pokémon Trainer's Choice
- Question: Trainers, Which of these Pokémon is a Template:Type2?
- Choices: Combusken, Tropius, Flygon
- Answer: OK, trainers! If you chose Tropius, you were right!
