String Shot (Japanese: いとをはく Spit Thread) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
String Shot decreases the target's Speed stat by one stage. String Shot will do nothing if the target's Speed has reached a stage of -6 or a value of one, and will fail if the target has a Substitute or is under the effect of Mist.
