Walkthrough:Pokémon Sword and Shield/Part 20

Wyndon

It’s three days after Eternatus when we return, and you overhear people in the hotel gossiping about how Rose brought about the Darkest Day, and how he turned himself in to the authorities. Hop arrives to tell you to go to Wyndon Stadium, where Leon’s waiting for you to have the Championship Match that was rudely interrupted by Rose three days ago. Head to Wyndon Stadium, where your date with destiny awaits.

After checking in at the desk and changing into your uniform, it’s time for your entrance, with Leon coming through the opposite corridor. The two of you meet in the middle, and Leon even mentions how wild the crowd is as a result of your success in capturing Eternatus and saving the Galar region. Leon, as confident as ever, vows victory, and you both take your places for the final battle.

Grookey
If the player chose Grookey:

Leon always leads with Aegislash, and his team always has the double Dragon-types of Dragapult and Haxorus, as well as the final Evolution of whichever first partner Pokémon he was left with. Rhyperior, Seismitoad, or Mr. Rime will take up the remaining spot, depending on your first partner of choice, while he always closes with his ace, Charizard, which he Gigantamaxes at the earliest opportunity.

Leon’s team is fitting for a Champion, carrying good type diversity, strong Pokémon, and a mixture of physical and special attackers. Play your type matchups well, remember that you can use items to heal or boost if necessary, and your toughest battle so far is, while difficult, definitely winnable.

After your victory, Leon thanks you for the best match he’s ever had, and with your Mom and Hop in the stands and confetti falling, he raises your arm as the brand new Champion of Galar!
